St Peter's Neighbourhood Association is a volunteer community organisation.
It is run by a volunteer Committee to help other people volunteer.
There are many different ways of helping voluntarily. Anyone can donate some time, their skills and talents and work with other St. Peter's people.
Volunteer work might include standing for the Committee at the Annual General Meeting in May, giving and helping to run the Festive Appeal, helping organise the community day or volunteer gardening. It can also include any new inititaive you might wish to benefit the neighbourhood. New ideas are always welcome.
As well as volunteering, donating comes in many guises. As we have seen over the past six years.
Last Summer B & Q Scotswood gave the neighbourhood several car-loads of summer bedding plants. And a resident donated valuable topiary box shrubs. Other welcome donations include prizes for fundraising, cash and any equipment, tools or gardening furnishings.
