Trinity Courtyard wins Best Group Gardening Effort in Newcastle

On Thursday night residents and volunteer gardeners in St. Peter's Trinity Courtyard were announced as double winners.

First of all Trinity Courtyard again won best group effort in the annual Byker Ward In Bloom competition. Then it was announced that the Courtyard had the distinctive honour of being named as Newcastle City Council's Overall Winner in Best Group Gardening.

Judges for the City prize said they very impressed by both the effort everyone in Trinity Courtyard had put into their own gardens and drives, as well as the communal gardens.
