Trinity wins again

St. Peter's Trinity Courtyard's legendary communal gardens scored big again at this year's Byker in Bloom competition.

This year Trinity won Best Group and Best Overall winner in the Ward-wide competiition.

Newcomers Chandlers Quay also won bronze in the Best Group category.

Judges comments on both St. Peter's award-winners were full of praise for the group work involved, and of course the terrific results achieved. The judges were equally as impressed that the competition had triggered neighbours to take pride in their own homes' and gardens' appearance. 

This was also the first year that St. Peter's Neighbourhood Association had co-sponsored the competition.
