Today down in The Ropery

Today down in The Ropery, the St. Peter's Neighbourhood Volunteer Gardeners worked together on the riverside paths, beds and lawns.  The communal areas of this part of St. Peter's Basin now look so much better for all the collective and voluntary attention. The wheelbarrows donated by our neighbourhood branch of Jewsons are also being put to good use.

So far this summer, the volunteer gardener turnout each Tuesday between 9am and 11am has gone from strength to strength. To join the group, have a word with one of the volunteers pictured, or drop a note to secretary@stpetersnewcastle.co.uk.
