St. Peter's wins Outstanding Group at 2019 Byker Voscars

Coinciding with the start of its fourth year, St. Peter’s Neighbourhood Association has won the OUTSTANDING GROUP award at last night’s 2019’s Byker Voscars’ Award ceremony.
In presenting the award to the St. Peter’s representatives Voscars' Chair and Councillor Nick Kemp said: “It’s is a great pleasure to us all to acknowledge so many volunteers and their supporters, drawn uniquely from both the neighbourhood’s residential and business groups. In St. Peter’s the true spirit of Byker is very much alive”.
At the ceremony, Association secretary Robert Mee was also awarded a LOCAL HERO award for his St. Peter’s voluntary work.
