With Spring and sunshine having now properly arrived in St. Peter's, the neighbourhood's volunteer gardening group continues their work on Tuesday mornings.
The group of ten or so volunteers work closely together each week throughout the year, but now not too closely. In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, the group members all maintain between them the critical two metre social distancing rule.
The Group has now worked together for four years and came about out of the neighbourhood-volunteer restoration project of the Fish with Two Heads statue. The volunteers' work is supported by St. Peter's Neighbourhood Association. Earlier this month the Association won its £1500 National Lottery grant application to assist further volunteer and award-winning gardening across the St. Peter's neighbourhood.
