Every day many people from St. Peter's , along with visitors from across the city, and indeed the world, enjoy the neighbourhood's Riverside Park.
Walkers, dog-walkers, cyclists, picnickers, local historians and bird-watchers are just some, amongst the hundreds, each day passing through the Park.
Now a call has gone out for St. Peter's people who can join in the next round of St. Peter's Riverside Park volunteer work on Wednesday 19 July, 10.00 - 12.30.
Volunteers from Jesmond Dene Park are coming along to lend a helping hand with litter-picking and path clearing work, and people from St. Peter's are very welcome to volunteer, come, help and meet new people.
To express your interest in taking part on Wednesday 19 July, or for future dates, please email your name and contact telphone number to Riverside Park Ranger Sarah Capes on sarah.capes@newcastle.gov.uk. If you have any queries, then please either email Sarah, or call her on: 07966264391
