Festive Appeal

Over two days at the beginning of December, St Peter's Marina Office was the base for the annual volunteer-run festive appeal.

This was the sixth year for the Appeal and donors' enthusiasm for donating was as strong as ever.  As was the commitment of volunteers and Team Cafe Verne who took in the collection, and then together delivered it to the recipents.

This year's Appeal recipient was the St. Michael's in Byker and Byker Mutual project to help local people and families over the Christmas period.
