Council Tax Scam Warning

A scam email is currently doing the rounds offering a council tax reduction. Several residents have reported this to the Council. 

The email has been designed to look like it’s from GOV.UK encouraging the recipient to click on the link and share their details.

Information has been posted on the council’s social media channels warning people not to click on the link.
