Brian Hunt, St. Peter's Marina Director, died in his sleep yesterday morning.

Our condolecences and thoughts go out to his family, team and friends.

For over thirty years, Brian ran the Marina and secured its ongoing success.

He was passionate about the St. Peter's neighbourhood and was always at the forefront of volunteering.  Over the decades he generously hosted neighbourhood barbecues and parties on the Marina Quay.  He also organised hugely popular river trips from St. Peter's to the High Level Bridge on Fete Days. More recently he volunteered the Marina Building as the Collection Post for the St. Peter's Festive Appeal Collection.

Brian also served as a Business Committee Member on St. Peter's Neighbourhood Association Committee.  A role he took on at the outset of the Association five years ago, and from which he made valuable, supportive and pragmatic contributions.
