A "Walk of Art" Challenge

The Active Newcastle "Walk of Art" is running from Wednesday 23rd August – Monday 23rd October.

The "Walk of Art" sees participants visit 6 venues around Newcastle City Centre in order to complete the challenge. At each of the venues there is pop-up banner showcasing new original typographic artworks inspired by motivational quotes from the ethos of This Girl Can.

A fold-out map is available to accompany the walk (a digital version is also available to download) and at each venue there is a post-box and self-inking stamp – so you can stamp and show where you have visited and when you have completed the route. The completed forms will be entered into a prize draw.

The venues are: Newcastle University Sports Centre, Newcastle Civic Centre, Costa St James Park, Newcastle City Library level 3, Long Play Café, Grainger Market and Live Theatre.  The route is approx. 3.5km and is a chance to take in the sites of the city and get active and have some fun.
