2020 Festive Appeal Collection

It was the weekend before Christmas, after a terrible year for many,  and residents and people who work in St. Peter's donated food items and gifts to their annual neighbourhood Festive Appeal Collection. 

This turned out to be the biggest yet seen in the four years the Association has been running the event. 

On Monday morning four packed volunteer cars were driven to the drop off the Collection at this year's recipients - nearby Byker Community Centre.  There, Centre volunteers helped to bring in all that had been given.

St. Peter's Neighbourhood Association and Byker Community Centre would like to thank everyone in St. Peter's who donated and helped stage the Collection. Without these people the Collection would not have been as successful as it has been.  Each donation will hopefully make a difference for local people and local families this Christmas.  Thank you all.
